Curious to know if anyone has created stats for Wing Commander fighters for use with the Silent Death rules? |

I once figured out weapon equivalencies but haven't gotten further. I collected "stats" as well from a WC wiki. Once I'm on a real computer next week I can share what I have. |

A really good question! I know of Battlestar Galactica and Star Wars stats, but none for Wing Commander. Now. I do have a set of blueprints of the Terran ships of late 1980s vintage, and they do include weapon specs and such IIRC… If you won the Core Rulebook for Silent Death: The Next Millennium, there is a Ship Design System for fighters and gunboats you could use to create workable stats for the WC-verse ships… Leland R. Yes, I have it (finally bought it yesterday, after having enjoyed the 'lite' Star Wars version for a while). Just wanted to know if I'd need to do them myself, along with expanding the Babylon 5 ship selection (still tons of the old miniatures available to add to the ones I already own). FYI, Leleand, THIS game is why I haven't designed a set of fighter rules – there's no need. ;) |

Not stats for SD, but the thread includes a set of fan boardgame rules which has stats that may provide help with the conversion… link |

Thanks for that link ROU, I'll look to borrow from that for my project. Karl, I'll send my files via e-mail now that I'm on a real computer. One is my weapon equivalencies, which won't make much sense without the background file that comes with it, which is a lot of cut-and-paste from a WC wiki I found that describes the weapons in functional terms. It also includes a photo guide for ships, since other than a few Studio Bergstrom ones, the rest need to be found from Silent Death near-lookalike ships or expensive Shapeways versions. The third file is a spreadsheet of WC ship stats, from the same Wiki. Was just stattng up my The Force Awakens project for SD this weekend, so I had everything out anyways. |

Thanks, x! It may be a while before I get around to statting them up – I have nearly a hundred units to design for my next book – but your info will definitely make the conversions easier to complete when I get to them. :) |
