s it just me or has Battlefront's quality dropped dramatically? I'm working on a Team Yankee commission and everything is all-around garbage – models have poor fit, molded it that horrid Zvezda-grade plastic, crew models have a ton of flash and marred detail, and the decals either won't release even after repeated soakings, separate within the decal film, or won't adhere to the model. Anyone else experiencing this? |

I find it's not completely uncommon for there to be a piece missing from the box, but poor casting? No, not at all. |

There have been reports/complaints, even on the FOW TY forum. Probably nuked rather quickly there. I suspect they need to replace worn out molds and other things. I'd send them a note, requesting replacements. Pics might help too. I got replacements for some broken parts a while back, rather quickly, so at least their customer service is pretty good. |

No problems at all and I have spent thousands of dollars on TY. Dennis |

suspect they need to replace worn out molds and other things. Worn out moulds? How worn out can they be after less than a year's production? |

Some molds, especially for resin castings, are only good for 30 – 60, or 100 pulls, so they can wear out very quickly, especially when you consider they're selling stuff all over the world. Metal molds for the plastic vehicles will last longer. |

No issues here, either. In fact, I've found the plastic kits are some of the best I've worked with… |

I have been very happy with the Team Yankee Plastic stuff. |

I've found the plastics to be really good. I did have a missing sprue for a cobra in one box but a quick email to Battlefront and the the missing item was sent to me in a few days. I did have some minot problems with the casting quality of the soviet infantry – lots of flash and the base bottoms had to be sanded down to make the figure stand up. Not the worst problem but I've seen much better casting quality . |
