Is there one? Can't find one. It would be nice to have a place to talk about the game with other players.

Here's The Crucible website link

John Treadaway, one of the authors and Chief Hammer's Slammers Guru, is always on TMP. And usually posts many things about the Slammers, The Crucible, etc., on the Sci-fi boards. Mostly 28mm or 15mm Sci-fi, IIRC, …

Just like any other subject, post it in one of those topics, 28 or 15. And say what you want to talk about. And I'm sure you'll get some replies/posts. A lot of Slammer Fans here. Including Mr. Treadaway himself.

BTW, I have a Slammer Task Force in 6mm … posted pics before …

Forums…

I've never organised one (sounds like a lot of work!).

I've always encouraged folk (as Legion 4 has said) to use TMP and, in addition, I post stuff on the website (many of the gallery posts on hammers-slammers.com are from contributions made by fellow Slammers enthusiasts I've met from here).

If someone else wanted to set one up I'd support it, though!

May be able to get a sub forum on here that may work. There's one for dirtside so why not Hammers Slammers :)

I'd feel embarrassed to petition for it but if anyone wants to poke Bill on the subject, please be my guest!

Thanks for the response guys. I've spent a lot of time on the Hammer's website. I have used it a bunch putting together forces.
I like the idea of getting a sub form. I'd be more then willing to help poke. Just tell me what I need to do.

I'm not 100% sure I assume you pm Bill.

What comstarhpg said (I think!)

Personally, there are few occasions where I suggest a separate board, though TMP IS a different case.

If most folk watch at the TMP front page, it's fine, but as one who tends to go straight to favorite boards to see what's a continuing discussion, I think it 'ghetto-izes' some games.

I take Doug's point of view on board whole heartedly. For me, anything I'd post would simply be copied to that board as well.

Assuming Bill didn't restrict that (as he often seems to…) so – in effect – it'd turn up in the 15mm SF, the 6mm SF and a (putative) Hammer's Slammers board.

That's the only issue if there is no cross posting to it …. but it would nicely keep all the relevant messages together though if Bill did allow it.

Worth an ask :)

Cheers Matt
