I got the chaps together for a day of playing games in September and have only now gotten my act together to do a proper battle report. We played a series of linked games all set during the initial stages of the Barbarossa campaign. The players were divided into teams and played four games each over the day. It gave me the chance to drag out some new stuff (particularly a plethora of early war Russian tanks) and field an interesting mix of stuff. Thanks for the report, looks like people had fun. I've played Memoir some and prefer a more historical WW2 battle but it does have the benefit of going fast and furious. You guys certainly did it well, I think I'd have enjoyed that session. |
