My Williamite War collection has taken a Scottish turn.
The first few units are up on my blog.

Good work on the plaid. I have a large unpainted highlander Jacobite army that I've only painted one unit for because of the plaid. I need to motivate and get them done. |

Thanks PAR. I find in 15mm a good approach to plaid is to paint alternate squares of colour and then apply a good wash of undiluted nut brown ink. Once that dries I pick out the centre of each square in a brighter shade of the original colour. |
