…sailors

"At least six Pakistani sailors have reportedly been killed after a Saudi airstrike targeted their boat off the Yemeni coast.

The Saudi jets targeted a boat carrying 12 Pakistani sailors off Mukha coast in the Yemeni province of Ta'izz on Sunday, Yemen's Saba news agency said.

According to the report, the other six sailors are still unaccounted for.

The deadly strike comes as the Riyadh regime continues its brutal military campaign against neighboring Yemen, which was launched in March 2015 to reinstall the former Yemeni government.

Yemen's former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi has ordered a major assault on the country's Red Sea coast against Houthi Ansarullah fighters and allied army forces, which have been defending the nation against a deadly Saudi offensive…"

Thought Pakistanis are sunnis. Why would they be supporting Houthi rebels in Yemen?

Another "confusing" part of the Sunni-Shia conflict … They sometimes hate each other if it is "Convenient".

They all attacked Israel at one time of another.
E.g. the Kurds are Sunni, and so is Daesh … but they still will kill each other on sight.
And the examples go on and on …

How can anyone help the moslem/islamic world … if they can't/won't help themselves ?

Personally I don't think the Saudis have any level of reasonable ISTAR and they probably have very loose rules of engagement.

Thus the boat/ship was probably near somewhere where in the Saudi's eyes it shouldn't have been and was thus attacked.

Because it's political not religious.
Like all wars.

Because it's political not religious.
To some in the region … there is little difference. Or even one and the same … As I said, "They sometimes hate each other if it is "Convenient" …

Yea, from what I've read, political = religious, AND vice versa, for much, if not most of Islam, and Islamists.

Deadles08 Dec 2016 5:48 p.m. PST

There's no difference in fundamentalist/conservative Islam between politics and religion. They are one and the same. Remember this religion has a whole legal system (Sharia) which regulates every aspect of life, including how non-believers should be treated (Christianity does not prescribe specific legal status and rights for non-believers).
