Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me out by pointing me in the right direction for some manuals on armored/tank tactics, probably about company level. I have the modern US manual for tank platoons, and a boatload of stuff for infantry and recon, but not much on tanks. I would also be interested in British field manuals (I don't know what you guys call them) for Tanks, Infantry and Recon. I'd also be interested to know if the ones from the 70's/80's are still around, I'm looking for some manuals with a more conventional warfare emphasis. Thanks a lot guys! ~Joe |

YouTube link Videos give a good idea of tactics for the period. The same principles would apply to higher level formations, Tally Ho! |

There are some on-line field manuals available for viewing/downloading, for free. Check this subject, and type in Field Manuals, and/or tactics here in the message archives, on TMP, or in Google. |

Good stuff Jekinder6, many similarities in tactics there. All modern UK stuff is now found on the military intranet and classified restricted. I have not seen any of the old manuals about, Tally Ho! |
