Any word on whether these will be released again? I have quite a collection of these but I would like to get more as a gift in the future… |

I think Dreamforce has them. |

Dreamforge games sold them. They just had a huge discount sale to move the stocks. Seems it worked as I don't see any on their site. Seems the designer isn't interested in creating more for that line or the Eisenkern line unfortunately. Still sources out there to findicate them and at a good price. Grimm |

Wow. I need to grab another box of Valkir, I suppose. Hopefully the Mech is still going to be produced. |

Too bad about that decision on the Dreamforge and of the loss of the WF figures. Two amazing lines of minis that will be sorely missed. |

Just to clarify, is the Eisenkern line going away or just not being expanded? |
Capt Flash | 05 Dec 2016 1:24 p.m. PST |
Looks like it's sill going to be produced.. Might need to check his blog and be certain. |

Could just be a large tooling backlog if he's still attached to Wargames Factory. I haven't heard anything from them since they joined Warlord. And the only new thing they've done are associatedwith Warlord's zombie survival game. I don't think Dreamforge is kaput, but WF is a black box at this point. |

There is not much reason to stop selling the Eisenkerns – unless they have bad contracts. The moulds exist, and the product is on the very top in plastic design. The sad thing is that the high oversea shipping made me miss the sale, or I would easily have spend a larger sum on it. I love this line, but if shipping & customs more then doubles the price… |

I checked with Warlord Games on this (as they are the new distrubutor) ages ago (cos I want more of the skellies!) and they advised they are in the pipeline but with a very drawn out release schedule. I expect they intend to do to each line what theyve already done to the zombies/survivors range, i.e; fit it into a properly thought out range with all the trimmings based around some sort of starter set with two opposing sides and a rule book. |

Yea I'd be very surprised if Dreamforge vanished entirely; the molds already exist and they are excellent models from everything I've heard. Even if Warlord doesn't want them Dreamforge could probably find another distributor. -Will |

I think the problem may be more their contract with the mould-maker, who probably also worked for Wargames Factory. When Dreamforge made its epic Kickstarter campaign, it yielded far more moulds then could be paid for by the money made. Anyway, I own all of their Eisenkern (and some other) kits, and they are second to none if you like to build your miniatures, and not just cut out unipose minis… the sprues certainly do not waste any space. I highly recommend them if you are into the genre. |

They are very good kits, I think the problem is that they are hobbyist kits and not really what people expect from wargames related plastic kits. Not to mention the extra cost from the bells and whistles I expect most people don't really care about. He probably should do one or two piece versions of the basic troops for the mass market. The shock troopers kits on the other hand are alright for games, but like alot of the Wargames Factory stuff really need to be redesigned for usability and poseability as parts quite often don't fit together like they should. That's true of quite a few of the early 'indy' plastic kits to be fair. |

The Dreamforge kits are likely designed they way they are to maximize space. I agree that the kits could use some simplification, maybe to include ball joints for the arms and one piece hips with ball joints for the legs as well. I think the Wargames Factory kits are pretty good except for some of the weird hand positions and how all the infantry support weapons are underslung. The WF figures convert quite well with GW Imperial Guard miniatures, which is nice. I wish they would expand the line with light tanks and APCs in the simplified kit style of old GW… |
