…but he ain't kickin'! From PRW (TVAG) approximately 30 minutes ago: Andy! Please accept my apologies for seeming to have taken a left at the Bermuda Triangle, but I've unexpectedly I have been in hospital since November 16 for a serious foot infection, surgery, and now recovery. Indeed, I will not be able to sleep again in my own bed before Friday, December 9. I write this reply by the courtesy of a loaned laptop which allows only limited communications, and I've hardly had the time to try to find my way back to TMP, though I never even imagined I'd be "missed" such that I should post an "I'm not dead yet!" Feel free to share this lousy short reply however you may wish, and know that I will get back to work and regular comms, more or less at first, a week from now. Thanks for your concern, but be at ease--I still have TVAG to serve until they do haul me to the bone yard. Gratefully Yours, Patrick As many of you know, I myself have Type2 (Well controlled) diabetes and I walk 10k+++ steps a day. I used to walk in ANGER during my divorce and I had three mini-episodes over the past 24 months that I caught early on, plus I have a terrific podiatrist…a tiny little Southeast Asian lady with Malay Pirate blood in her veins and a scalpel between her teeth…, so I have an idea of what Patrick went through. He'll report in, in due time, but at least he' still among the living! (Hopefully w/a boot up his rear end to exercise, lose weight and eat right too). Enough of my preaching…"he's not dead yet!" |

Had no idea of Patrick's time in hospital. Thanks for making us aware, which gives us all the chance to wish him a rapid and complication-free recovery. Stay out of hospitals, people! You wake up with bits missing! I did!! O_o - Martin |

Thank you for the news. Patrick got me into miniature wargaming back in the early to mid 1980's when he had the Armchair General store in Oklahoma City. I hope he has a good recovery. Matthew |

Get well quickly, Pat! You still have hundreds of unrealized great ideas to bring into creation! Be sure to bring back some souveniers from the Bermuda Triangle to share with us. />) v/r Tom |

Yay Patrick ! One of the REALLY good guys in our hobby. If, after your recovery, you want to actually cure your diabetes rather than just maintaining it, contact me privately. Both my ladyfriend Donna and her sister have reversed theirs, and cured themselves. No, I'm not selling anything, the cure is free. |
