Looks authentic to me!

I was messing about with some ACW figures I just got and ran into a good idea on porting some figures over.

I don't recall Blue or Gray using battle mechs with guns in the 40 watt range. Perhaps I need to read more deeply.(:

Nor the land Mott timberclads Palmer and Surdu brought to us in G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T., but I, being the trusting sort, never questioned… ;->=

As for 40 Watt guns, you weren't aware of Nikola Tesla's mother's early work? Before she focused on household implements of course; nut does not fall far from the tree…

If you have access to some spare Privateer Press figs, by all means, but I'll make due with old Mage Knight if I ever want to do the odd steam-or-clockwork beast.

The Mage Knight golems are a good source for similar (though a bit smaller) steam bots. These ones came from the Grind board game I linked through to. There are ten in the game, so at $24 USD, that's less than $2.50 USD per jack.

Fair dinkum; I spend a lot less per MK, but buy in quantities, and a fair amount of 'dross', or so it is until I dream up a use… ;->=
