…down to one plane. "Since World War II, the US has dominated the skies in any region in which it wishes to project power — but recent competition from countries like Russia and China threaten to erode that edge, and only a small group of elite pilots maintain the US's edge in air superiority. Russia has deployed powerful missile-defense batteries to Syria and its European enclave of Kaliningrad. The US Air Force can't operate in those domains without severe risk. F-22 has proven to be a great plane. We really should have kept building them for the Air Force. I know the price was high and the F-35 was supposed to be cheaper but for the trillion dollars we have spent developing the F-35 we could have built at least 1000 F-22's. |

Dream on Legion. I have a feeling in the next year the military industrial complex will expand and all regulations and oversight well dissappear. Instead of a couple boondoggles we well have nothing but companies getting billions of our tax dollars and either not producing or producing more billion dollar rafts that cant fight or planes that don't fly. Buy stock now and kiss you know what goodbye. |

Hyperbole doug … sometimes it does not translate very well over the net … And I do have two mutual funds that are doing pretty well … thank you … Plus when I do dream … it has nothing to do with this sort of topic … |
