I've been unsuccessfully trying to fax an order to NAVWAR from the US for a couple of days now. I also tried two different online fax services, so I'm pretty sure that the problem is on their end. Does anyone know if NAVWAR has an alternate fax number or a super-secret email address that I can use to reach them?

Before anyone asks, Navwar only takes faxes or snail mailed letters. Really.

Sent them an order by post yesterday – expect the order to be with me middle of next week. Faster than many on-line suppliers.

Only suggestion I have is to try phoning or faxing on Saturday – when the shop is open.

Perhaps the faxing system has ben made obsolete, and discarded as a relic of the past.

It is a new month now, and that meshes nicely with 11/30/16, when rumor has it (started by me?) that the global faxing system has been discontinued.

I have known (admittedly a while back) on-line fax applications not being able to communicate with older fax machines. Not much help really, but it has happened to me.

I recently ordered from Navwar by regular mail from the USA. Mailed in my order on a Tuesday. Cost about $1.15 USD postage, I think. They ran my credit card that Saturday and I received my order about a week and a half after that (two weeks total). Not too bad, really. If you decide to go this route, I would recommend getting you order mailed early in the week, so that it can get there by Saturday. Otherwise, you are looking at an extra week delay since, as GF stated, they are only open on Saturdays.

Forager – I don't think that Navwar only operate on Saturdays, just that the shop is only open then for retail sales. They do say on the website that this is so that they can handle casting and dispatch of orders at other times.

Fax machines are made in hell to punish humankind for our hubris.

Thanks for the info re Navwar. Good to know. Guess I got the wrong impression from their order form.
