This is a bit of a longshot and I am showing my senility here! 2 weeks ago I purchased (from somewhere) a large collection of metal washers. Mostly 35mm and 40mm flat round that I am using to base 1:285th GHQ micro armour on. I also bought from the same company some 40mm and 50mm flat metal discs like washers but without holes in the middle, these cost a little bit more. For the life of me I can find nothing in my ebay or amazon order history or my emails as to where the heck i got them from and I need some more!!! Does anyone have any ideas where I can get these size of washers cheaply? I believe they were being sold in packs of around 10 – 15. I THOUGHT I bought them from Warbases, but looking now they do not stock any metal washers so i am commpletely confused Ta Andy |

I'm guessing you paid by debit or credit card, what about looking at your statement. Also you could try your internet history. Good luck. |

Try "fender washers" These large round washers have a small hole in the center and come in boxes of 25(?). I've used them for years, they work great for trees. Jim McCarron (ex Musket Miniatures owner) |

Guys I really appreciate the responses. I explained the problem to my wife rather sheepishly, and she thinks she has a solution. I honestly can't remember but think she MAY be right….. She thinks I bought them from B&Q about 3 weeks ago! (Same as home depot). I'm somewhat embarassed that even after she said that I'm still not sure. The more i think about it the more it rings a bell (quietly) I went to see a private neurologist a year ago because i was concerned about my memory. He showed me a picture of an elephant and said what's that? Elephant i replied, i have a bad memory i'm not retarded! He thought that was evidence my memory was fine. Funnily enough though a year later and I do still remember that elephant :) Though i don't remember the name of the neurologist nor would i recognise him if i saw him in the street…… BUT I would recognise an elephant :) Andy |

CptKremmen -- your experience with memory loss is all too often common among many who have "seen the oliphant." |

I've "seen the oliphant" or at least I think I did. |
