Technically against the law in the US, but no jury has yet convicted anyone who shot one down that was hovering over their property. |

I like the drone that fires a net…shades of Planet of the Apes. Of course, training birds (or programming drones) to take one down is pretty awesome, too. I feel a whole new era of mini wargaming about to be developed. |

A new Olympic sport by 2032? You have to play both sides. Shooter AND drone pilot, playing against one another for best total, combined score, e.g. killing drones as the shooter, and avoiding getting shot down as the drone pilot. |
