When my son first showed me this game, I could not see why anyone would think it was scary. Then we played a game--it was horrifying! Free paper models of the creatures are available on the web--has anyone given thought to whether this could be turned into a miniatures game?

Puppetswar makes some mutant bears that would fit in with Freddies. The scare factor is lost on me though.

It's the way the game goes along. You keep going from monitor to monitor, and only gradually notice certain of the manikins have moved. (If you're lucky you might see one move straight ahead a few feet, with no visible means of locomotion.) They will eventually get to your station, and if you have not been able to fight them off, a doll face with chopping, pointed teeth suddenly comes on screen. The game may sound dopey, but for some reason it scares the cr*p out of people who play it. (At least it did me.)
