What about 1/285?*

Battletech is scaled to 1/285 or 6mm. The main problem is the scale creep that you have with certain mechs which look absolutely horrible in comparison to other lighter mechs but are sculpted in the same size.

A Hollander is almost as tall as the older Atlas sculpt. The issue is the Hollander is a 35 ton light mech and the Atlas is a 100 ton assault mech.

A long time I went to the GAMA show here in Las Vegas and my gift bag contained a Stinger (20 tons) in scale with the Atlas (100 tons). The Atlas could've picked the Stinger with one hand.

I wish that Ironwind had not stopped with just that one Stinger.

Ironwind does not know how to or care about the scale for different Battletech units. They just have to fit on the hex on a hexmap.

To be fair, much the original art depicts a lot of the mechs at roughly the same height too; it's the mass that differs. But later artists have kept everything pretty much the same height and didn't pay attention to how much mechs were 'supposed' to weigh. So there's a lot of oddballs.
