2 or 3 times I've seen a rule set, but the writers have not seemed to make it clear where/how to buy them or how much. They have websites/blogs/FB feeds/Etc. They post links on various fora to reviews and battle reports. What they dont do is put a nice obvious link "BUY THEM HERE" Well, eff them then. |

Uh…maybe some examples would help? |

Sometimes you need to put a request in the blog. I usually add a comment like "Hey I Love your stuff, Paypal invoice me at blank.com" and email me at me@aol.com Almost every time I get a reply something like---Mr. Random I am about to Paypal invoice you for $$sum which includes shipping. Is this Ok with you. |

I have encountered the same problem three times. It really is quite insane. This hobby seems to be littered with pretty idiosyncratic people. Even sites that are purportedly set up to sell things can be impossible to find things on all to often. I want to chock it up to this being from a demographic that skews to the older and therefore not as comfortable with the internet, but I don't know. Anyway, I hear you and feel your frustration all too often. |

I'm purposely not telling the two sets involved, because sod 'em. These people run blogs, post pictures POST HOW WONDERFUL THEY ARE ON TMP… Even if as 1 man bands they can't do the selling themselves, at least put an obvious link to what ever site they sell through! |

Sorry, reading the complaint means there is a problem, but who's to blame is another matter without examples. |

Rules writers in general don't market their products well. They use "innovative", "clever" and "elegant" as buzzwords to describe their products but then go about NOT telling us anything about their rules! I have also seen the advertiser make it difficult to find the purchase link and price! So, I am not surprised what Last Hussar found and no we don't need to give them any advertising help. They should go back and figure it out on their own. They know who they are. |

Marketing and writing most definitely is not the same skill set :-) |
