Parliament! Even though I work in Newcastle upon Tyne now which was staunchly Royalist, I am from north Cheshire which supported Parliament. Incidentally, 'Roundhead' was an insulting term for Parliamentary soldiers, and was banned from being used in Cromwell's Ironsides! |

Parliamentarian. Though there were plenty of overly greedy manipulators on that side as well. Not sure we could have gotten our own country, if the king's powers hadn't gotten shorn somewhat. |
