Please take some time to browse the Medieval rules – TMP link – and add your ratings for the rulesets you've used. Here are the current Top Ten: 1. Soldiers of God 2. Swordpoint 3. Lion Rampant 4. Mortem et Gloriam 5. Triumph! 6. Bear Yourselves Valiantly 7. Dux Bellorum 8. Glutter of Ravens 9. Knighthood and the Middle Ages 10. Comitatus |

And where may I ask is WAB and Deus Vult in this list of apparently a novice wargamer ? |

I've GM'd medieval games for years but have never used any of the 'top 10' – or any on the link, either… |

The only one of those on my way too heavy shelf of Medieval rules is Lion Rampant and I was not really impressed with it. I really like Vows of Iron out of the current crop or recent Medieval rules. |

or any on the link, either… All 11 pages of them? |

Don't know any of them Bill! |

I looked at the 11 pages, at about 20 entries a page it was not exactly War and Peace. |

I wouldn't put much into the ratings. Several of those have only 1 vote at the time I looked. |

Knighthood is available as a pdf game from the vault but was written back in the 90's. It's current incarnation is Day of battle. |

As I said on the thread about the ancients rankings, there needs to be a minimum number of votes for a ranking like this to make any sense. I'd suggest five as a minimum (i.e. a set of rules doesn't get included in the rankings unless it has at least five votes). Then the ranking list would have some meaning. |

I have two of those, but not played them. Where is Saga? Is it dead already!?! |

there are not enough entries to draw conclusion .Soldiers of God is first with just one vote…so vote ! |
Twilight Samurai | 29 Nov 2016 8:52 p.m. PST |
Only read four of those. A bit early for Triumph isn't it? A early access pdf was only made available three or so weeks ago. |

And where may I ask is WAB and Deus Vult in this list Deus Vult is currently ranked #12. WAB is much further back, as its rating is 6.60 with 5 votes cast so far. Yes, that can easily be done once we have more votes in the system. Where is Saga? Is it dead already!?! It is currently at #10. With many more votes now in the system, the Top Ten are now: 1. Soldiers of God 2. Dux Britanniarum 3. Day of Battle 4. Bear Yourselves Valiantly 5. Glutter of Ravens 6. Knighthood and the Middle Ages 7. Dux Bellorum 8. Comitatus 9. Lion Rampant 10. Saga |

Yes, that can easily be done once we have more votes in the system. Why not do it straight away? The rankings are meaningless if a single 10 vote put a ruleset in at the top. |

Captains and Kings and Rally Round the King both from Two Hour Wargames were not in the directory. |

Hmm. Chainmail and War Cry are not in the top ten. I suspect a Russian plot. |
