Howdy. I know from the fluff books that certain Army Regiments (armies?) were attached to parent Marine Legions both before and during the HH. My question is, has anything been written about in the World Eater Army Units in any of Forge Worlds HH army books or anywhere else for that matter? |

As part of the 13th expeditionary fleet, Legio Audax (The Ember Wolves) was a demi-legio and had extremely close ties with the World Eaters. It consisted only of scout class titans and was known for its savage ferocity. Likewise, the Redjak Covenant (The Redjak Mechanicum of Sarum) of the mechanicum swore themselves to Angron and his legion after the legion came to their aid and were only nominally loyal to Mars. No known Astra Militarum units were attached to the World Eaters that I know of, but it's not impossible due to the fluid nature of the armies of the Imperium at that time. This information is in HH Book 1 pg. 96. |

Beast got most of it. As far as I'm aware, Angron was too far over the edge for most Militarum commanders to stick with him. Most Black Library writers have seemed to avoid talking about auxiliaries when discussing the World Eater 's. It's why my WE's are Blackshield Loyalists, as I just can't bring myself to turn traitor. Then again my main army are Wolves, so I'm pretty committed to the Emperor. :) |

My pleasue Uesugi. TheWhiteDog is correct, the Warhounds and later the World Eaters were avoided by everyone if they had a choice in the matter. It is hinted that forces that failed in their tasks as part of the 13th expeditionary fleet were destroyed as punishment. |
