We had a great time in Weymouth over the weekend playing a host of Piggie games. Reports are being added to the Peter Pig forum over at link

Here (hopefully!) is a picture of my First Day of the Somme game using Squarebashing. That report is yet to be added but will be done tomorrow.

I have to add the scenario for my Somme game is heavily baed on the one found at link

I just expanded it out to a 6' table with the forces increased accordingly.

Been to shows all over the place and this was the best for gaming (biased of course!). Played Friday evening, all day and evening Saturday(last game finished at 3 in the morning) and Sunday till tea time.

Great looking Somme game, looks like all that hard work paid off. Did the British break through to Bapaume and the open countryside beyond?

No, they stalled. The only breakthrough occurred at Beaumont Hamel but the British were unable to consolidate the gains. Towards the end of the game, the Pals battalions made some progress in the direction of Serre having suffered earlier in the day
