I'm going to start to try to join in at the local store that plays 1000 point games. This is a more casual setting, not a tournament, but to make things easy people bring 1000 point lists. I'm working with a limited collection for now. The only 'tank' I have painted is a Tiger I, which at 1000 points I'm not sure I could use as effectively as that many points worth of gravel agitators. I definitely want to include the SdKfz 222 and the 250/1 half track as they're some of the prettier models I have. The list is partially worked around them. Here's a first attempt at a 1000 point list. I would appreciate any comments. PDF link Some eye candy to make it worth your wild:
Thanks in advance! AJ |

I've always liked the SdKfz 222 armored car. You've done a great job on it. Jim |

Nice looking models. I'm not too familier with BA but that seems to be a decent force. |

Oops! I just read on PG. 71 of the V2 rule book that spotters don't work with inexperienced teams. Looks like I have some re-working to do on my mortar team. |

"I definitely want to include the SdKfz 222 and the 250/1 half track as they're some of the prettier models I have" As good a reason for making a list as any! |

Why not make all the infantry Falschirmjagers? Better history and they look really cool. You could always drop the sniper team to sort out the points. |

I know you want as many dice as possible but those are some really small squads. I always like to try and start with around eight figures per main squads, they last longer, and try to set them up for a purpose. I will build fire support squads with two light MG's and assault squads with more smg's and no lmg's. |

Thanks for the advice rhacelt – I'll try modifying the list per your recommendations! |
