Now with 2 days to go, they finally added a "Many Minis" pledge level at the Ogre Miniatures Set 1 Kickstarter:

$150 USD: 2 sets of Blue/Red, 2 sets of Red/Blue, and 2 sets of Green.

Okay, only $503 USD from $70 USDK, which tops all the additional mini freebies to backers. That comes down to approximately 17 more backers. C'mon, SF and Ogre fans, back it! I WANT MORE MINIS! grin

And clarification over in the KS comments, Many Minis option also includes Ogre Objective 218 card game.

jfleisher28 Nov 2016 2:44 p.m. PST

Yeah, I'm in for $300.00 USD

Moe the Great28 Nov 2016 6:20 p.m. PST

jfleisher28 Nov 2016 6:48 p.m. PST

And it just broke $80 USDK…

LostPict28 Nov 2016 9:26 p.m. PST

Not that it matters much, but why are the colors flipped from the artwork on the old metal minis boxes? I.e., red are blue and blue are red?

Mysterious.

I don't think I ever bought boxes, just blister packs.

Does anyone know why the shipping cost for the 6 sets deal is triple what the single set deal is.

As far as I can tell shipping up to 2 pounds costs about $25 USD (less for bulk shippers) to the UK so where does the extra $50 USD come from ?

Really considering this but don't like being ripped off for shipping.

Guthroth29 Nov 2016 6:28 a.m. PST

The shipping and inevitable duty and tax is what killed it for me. 150 + 75 + 10 + 50 (USD approx) is just too much.

The Many Minis option also includes the weight of the boxed card game Ogre Objective 216.

The shipping estimates are just that, actual shipping will be calculated when they have the confirmed final weights of the production packages. after the campaign ends.

I think there was a mention in the comments at some point about shipping costs to other countries being higher because the various game boxes and mini boxes are coming from different sources.

Well, if it hits $90 USDk you save $5 USD whole dollars.

Will hit the 90k for -$5 off shipping.

Also an extra Glow-in-the Dark Mk.III, and new stretch goals for a GitD Mk.V, and then GitD extra set of all the regular troops. Both goals are quite feasible in the final day surge.

… they're still adding sretch goals, another $5 USD off shipping at 120k. Still quite feasible. Like Ogre Designer's Edition, this campaign is indeed ending with a much bigger spike than it started with, now that everyone can see what the actual package has finally shaped into.

Not bad at all for finishing post-Thanksgiving!

I'm in!

And GitD dices on the far horizon?

OKayz, adding in some of the regular coloured dices too!

Just woke up to the Ghost Army unlocking, so now it's 7 sets of minis with the glowy Ogres and Army added ^,^

jfleisher30 Nov 2016 5:29 p.m. PST

Ended at $124,628. USD All stretch goals reached.

I should have pledged more.. but what am I going to do with so many sets of figs..? I'm already eager for Mini set #2.

Yay! My very first KS pledge and I wind up with even more minis for less money! I knew I could count on my fellow Ogre fans and TMPers to put it over the top! Woohoo!

Moe, you can always ad in more when the Backerkit opens up. All the same deals.

Some folks on a tight budget put in a small amount during the campaign, knowing they can add more in their next budget cycle. Only potential drawback to this is that moneys added later don't boost unmet stretch goals. (Usually, some companies have done that for a perk they really wanted to make.) But in this case, all SGs were met anyway.

There is rumour that SJG will start supporting organised play in 2017. So I will be happy to have buckets of minis to host intro events at the FLGS and conventions! As well as for personal use and admiration of the gleaming piles.

sharkbait03 Dec 2016 7:58 p.m. PST

Honestly, I just wanted the actual Ogre minis. I have enough 6mm SF minis to stand in for the vehicles & infantry. Having a variety of Ogres, including the Mk Is & Mk IIs, is what I'd like.
