Finished this Vignette last night.
Ever since seeing the famous painting "Friedland" By Edouard Detaille, I wanted to make Vignette of it.
These are all AB 18mm minis.
The minis were painted by John ("Stoneman1815")for me, I shamelessly copied the idea from John and added a small cannonball effect that I made from epoxy-putty and painted steele grey.
Hope you guys like it, I am pretty chuffed with it myself;)
(apart from the quality of the photos, that I took with my Ipad….:I)

Actually, it was this painting I was thinking of:

I does look alot like the one you refer to.
Except this one is of the 4th Hussars at Friedland, the other one is the 2nd Hussars at Jena (I believe).
Both paintings are dramatic and marvelous!
