Hey all! Well, a little while ago, I started getting my son some of the Micromachine Star Wars figures. I had an hour or so to kill, and so I went ahead and made some modular little rooms for his guys to live and fight in! For more details and room-by-room shots, come on by and take a peak!:) link

Nice work. I like your room details. I'm in the process of making an underground base and need to give it that lived in look. |

Looks great! The vid screen with Star Destroyer and planet are a nice touch. Did you use wood, or foamcore to make them? Having only one to two sides with walls certainly opens them up nicely, and provides for much easier access. Been wanting to do something similar for my 15mm and 32mm figures. |

They are made of balsa. Very simple, and I settled on like three or four basic shapes for the "detail" bits. And yeah, I have to leave them open… he is only five, and his hands need a lot of space:) |

Shame on you, only five and you've already got him "hooked"! |

Thanks for the info. I'm older, but suspect I need more room than he does, due to larger hands. |

Looks great – all you need is one on them that stands about 5 feet above the table, with no walls around the walkways, to get that total Star Wars experience. Doors that slammed shut quickly would be nice too but perhaps not with 5 year old fingers nearby… |
