Thats a great tutorial. I think its more collector's standard than wargamer's standard. But it would be fun to try it on some Generals/ADCs or very special unit! |

Great tutorial but I think I will reserve your sage advice for my command figures and pretty boys like the hussars – my Austrian infantry brigades have about 108 figs per so that would be a lot of detailing! |

It's not for everyone , but gives an idea of a different technique , that is actually very quick once your used to it I can paint around 50 an evening a push |

An impressive method for high quality work, even in larger scales. Thanks for illustrating and explaining it in such detail. Do you use ordinary acrylic black paint as the base of your wash? I find non-water based washes better over acrylics since they find crevices, rather than stain. |

I have Austrian hussars to paint up after the infantry. Any advice for those? |

hussars are fun, all the same process base colours ,wash reapply base coulours as highlights get some vallejo cavarly brown, its perfect for horses and looks stunning if the process above is applies |
