I had a few sales the last months on stuff in my basement. Shipping on the first one was delayed for reasons I do not wish to go into, but all went out. Unfortunately, my second batch was delayed due to flooding from burst sink drains. I got more than half of the goods out, but also lost some books in the flood. I apologize for my shabby communications, and inaccurate assurances of delivery. I am down to two people who never received their books. I will refund their PayPal payments this weekend. Rest assured that any future sales will be in no danger if flood damage. I am really embarrassed by this. |

I didn't get a refund. Then again, I didn't order anything… |

It happens (and is a royal pain in the butt). Had something similar happen when I had my store. The water main for the deli next door burst one night and flooded my backroom (where we handled our mail orders). Ended up refunding a ton of money. But it was the right (and only) thing to do. Kudos to you keeping people informed and doing the right thing. Not everyone would. |
