Interested in these rules. Do they really test tactical skill? And, how long did each game take?

They are a good set of rules and give a convincing game with lots of suprises and tactical challenges. We mostly complete a game in under 3 hours.

Hi Durban, the two Lundy's Lane games are fairly small with about a dozen or so units a side. Both of these games completed in about 2 hours each.

I certainly enjoy the tactical challenges of Piquet. You can join the Yahoo Group for Piquet and Field of Battle to ask around.
