Thanks,
Glad you like them.
As you can see Pvc is a very versatile material to use to build virtually anything ( & you find find loads of different thickness in a scrap yard for free :):):) )
Nothing beats building your own .

Tell us about the digs. I've touted a long time the use of toy and model airplane ordinance, which I think the one on the right is

But the one on the left is another kettle of fish, methinks.

No problem Beast,
Both Digs were made from 1/48 or 1/35th ( not sure which scale or where I had got them as I had them for ages )modern aircraft missiles / tanks.
I have bigger/longer ones in the set but these were the best size & looked the part perfectly.
Assembled then pieces of square/round sprue attached to them to make hull & turrets.
Very simple to build.

Exactly, and if one loves nef's, entirely possibly that love extends to spaceships. Which some pieces are even better for…

Still, there are Brigade Models that look like half a bomb/missile was used as the hull. One can take that track as well.

As you say it is very possible Doug.
Here's another post I did to show what one can do with pvc , this time for BFG.

Just came to my mind, A BIC pen cap could make a basis for a lovely Dig also.

Very nice!

I'm less secure with trying the fiddly bits, though the amount of tiny, plastic junk parts I have…

I'm looking for the shortcuts, though. Trying to match up bomb-hulls to spare Panzerschiffe-ground-down-to-superstructure, for instance. 1/72 + 1/2400 = 1/1200 ;->=

As for ships out of weopen boxes, I tend to divide into Straight bombs and weopen pods: VSF digs and nefs, Missiles, especially with canards, retro space (XL-5-ish), Most of the rest: SF space.

There's a Triple Ejector Rack in the 1/72 Hasagawa II that screams fast space patrol ship.

Thanks Doug,
Unfortunately with the usual amount of nice/useful junk gamers tend to hoard/collect through the years, we tend to forget what we have.
Just imagine the stuff you can build from a modern fighter jet kit with all those sleek lines.
