SESSION 53C: UNION

ROUND 3B – COURAGE

• Dedrik has recovered and will need to take two morale checks. He rolls a 17 and a 14 and will continue in the fight.
• Risandor nervously starts to sing and Inspires Courage.
• Dedrik is worried about being attacked by the ghoul via an attack of opportunity if he stands up. He cannot 5ft step away either as he is prone. He'll take a Withdrawal move whilst crawling and will crawl away from the combat to the west.
• Asmara slashes at the ghoul but misses.
• Ghislain stabs at his ghoul but also misses.
• Ansic brings down his long sword on the ghoul attacking him and slashes it across the stomach disemboweling the monster, dealing 11pts of damage and putting it down for good.
• Thomas fires at the closest ghoul which is the one attacking Ghislain and hits it in the left thigh doing 5pts of damage, almost dropping the beast.
• Halee moves north 10ft. She lines up the ghoul attacking Ghislain. Her aim is true and she hits the ghoul in the stomach dealing 4pts of damage, putting it down.
• Uthalin fires his heavy cross bow at the ghoul attacking Asmara but misses.

ROUND 4A – SINGLE MINDED ASSUALT

• A paralysis token is removed from Trone and Penn.
• There are no moral checks for the undead and the remaining ghoul lashes out at Asmara but fails to hit her with all three attacks.

ROUND 4B – SURROUNDED

• Risandor stops singing but the song lingers on. He casts Daze at the ghoul. It needs to make a DC13 check with a save bonus of +5 and rolls a 17 and is not affected.
• Asmara swings at the ghoul and hits it in the right leg dealing 4pts of damage.
• Halee fires with her short bow and hits the ghoul in the stomach for 5pts of damage.
• Ansic moves around to a flanking position on the ghoul stabs it in the back of the skull, dealing 12pts of damage and finishing the monster.

Roight! Pick up, dust off, and lets get movin.

Evaluate and then bandage up everyone's wounds, ghouls are notoriously infectious. (((Heal check for disease)))

Halee compliments each of the Men at Arms appreciatively for their bravery and tenacity, and whispers to Asmara that they could use a bit of channeled healing if she feels up to it.

If she agrees, fine, if not, fine – let's move on.

just a reader here saying how much I'm enjoying this campaign – well done Dark Eyed Warrior!

Asmara will happily provide healing. It is important that everyone is cured of any illnesses the ghouls may have passed on before we get much further!

Oh my, yes. I posted in haste forgetting that Trone is diseased, and we took a loss. Does the disease turn you into a ghoul?
