Heroscape: Road to the Forgotten Forest

It's a terrain expansion for Heroscape, but will non-Heroscape gamers be attracted by the trees?

Hi Jonathan
Do you know who makes those unpainted MDF buildings you took a few shots of?

That is why shows continue to attract. Thanks for sharing. Do you think coming around 13h00 would avoid the crowds and provide for parking?

Long Valley, Warbases is developing the unpainted mdf, so watch their site for news. Here is word from Mr Warbases:

@Long Valley

I hope to get my hands on a pre-release Roman villa or perhaps a temple from Warbases fairly soon.

I'll post it on my blog when it happens.

Thanks for your comments chaps, glad you enjoyed the post

Yes the MDF Villa is a prototype hopefully for general release next year.

I am not sure starting later would make a lot of difference. Sports Centres by their nature are busy places on weekends and given that there was a football match on in the town on the day a later start might have meant getting caught in that traffic just getting into town.

cheers

As a member of Staines Wargamers I can confirm that the Schweinfurt 1943 game is by us. And the Luftwaffe fighters were 1/144 scale and the B-17s slightly smaller; a decision made so that the planes could all be comfortably on the board in formation. As a side note, every single B-17 model is based on a real counterpart that actually flew on that mission. The board is meant to represent a reconnaissance photo of the target; it was decided that a black and white board would not overwhelm the visual appeal of the models.
