"It looks like the ‘Stargate‘ reboot which had been moving forward at full steam has hit a snag and Dean Devlin has opened up that the film is falling apart. His original work in 1994 with director Roland Emmerich gave us a movie that fans loved but more importantly launched three live action shows which have huge fan bases and that animated one which no one really ever talks about. This doesn't even include the novels and comics which fans have adored. So when MNGM and Warner Brothers had partnered with Emmerich and Devlin for a new trilogy hit a split set of fans. Some loved the idea of more stories set in the world of ‘Stargate' though others couldn't imagine a continuation outside of the realm of the television series…" More here link Amicalement Armand |

Good. No more reboots. It's a great universe with more stories to tell and other heroes to showcase. |

I'm generally not a fan of reboots anyway, especially if they're origin stories. |

Yeeeaaaahhhh. The TV series was better than the movie. The movie was fine, mind you, but the main tv series was much better. It had a great run, but it was time to say good by. Atlantis was ok; had it's movements. Hated the last series (Universe). Have no interest in a rebooted movie series. regards, HesseDarmstadt62 |

…animated Stargate? And yeah, stop rebooting, start writing. New team, new exploration, new enemies – and please, please, PLEASE don't do the 'BSG/GoT' bit where I can't watch it with my kids. |

I think the further the spin-offs got from SG1, the better the show got. |

Great universe that could spin off any number of series. Earth finds out about stargate and FTL ships and world goes into space. In one episode a rich guy was exiled to a human/alien world more advanced then earth – what is that world like to live/explore/get rich on that world. |
