Howdy folks. I am an over the road truck driver. I have a layover in Colton, California for a day and a half. I like to find good hobby stores and visit them while I am on the road.
I like 1 72 modern and ancient wargaming.

Are there any good gaming stores around Colton California I can visit?

You are about 20 miles from Pegasus Hobbies. Good selection of plastic 1/72 minis and lots of model kits. Lots of other hobby stuff too.

I second Pegasus. It's west on the 10 from Colton. It's actually larger than Brookhurst, but that's because it also features R/C and model railroad selections.

It has an extensive 1/72 model section and there is some scenery selections that will work as well. Additionally, Mike (Pegasus' owner) has his own range of 1/72 models and minis.

The 1/72 stuff is to the right and back as you enter. You'll have to pass through the diecast stuff.

GMI Games, is a little shop in Jurupa. It is closer, but mostly FoW and Warhammer.

Going east about 10 miles is A Shop Called Quest.

It's a mix of comic book store and some games. I've never been there, but my friends seem to like it.

Brookhurst is worth the drive (probably an hour) 10 to 57 to 91 and south on Brookhurst, but make sure you arrive there at 11 and are on the road back no later than 2 or traffic back gets gnarly.

Hopefully, you'll be driving something other than the tractor as parking is sparse at both Brookhurst and Pegasus.

HestonFan- a big thank YOU and to all other otr truckers who deliver the necessary things we need to lead comfortable lives. Stay safe on the road, and give a blast on the horn for me.

Hey, no problem. I appreciate the support.

I want to do a little follow up. I got a lot of 1 72 infantry.
Italeri Napoleonic French infantry
Italeri british light dragoons
HaT French Napoleonic fusiliers
Caesar Nubians
HaT Nubians
Caesar modern terrorists (the kit without the Chicks with uzis).
The prices were really good. I saw more that I wanted but I had to choose.
Their selection was excellent.
I was bummed that Pegasus Games did not have many 1 72 modern (post world war IIl vehicles. If you are into gaming 1 72 ww2 this is the place to visit.
Thanks for the recommendation. It was really cool and I was overwhelmed by the stock at first.
