I would like to paint up some units of Hessian foot and cavalry for my anglo British army. my British and Hanoverians are Freikorps figs and was wondering which figs in their syw range make the best hessians (Prussians Perhaps) alternately are there any other manufactures that make suitable and compatible figures. cheers in advance.

Freikorps Prussians would certainly be my choice.

Yep, I too love Peter Pig figures and use them in my AWI, WWI. WWII, cowboys, colonial wars and mixed in several other HotT armies as well.

I've also always had EXCELLENT service from Peter Pig, so in my mind you can't go wrong.

I also use some Essex, and the two blend well together on the same stand, or at least for me they do.

I used Freikorps Prussian for my Hessian and it worked just fine. I didn't do all that great a paint job, but the work well on the table.

thanks chaps, I think i'll go with my initial thoughts and use Freikorps Prussians.
