It would be nice for TMP members to have an OPTIONAL field in their profile where we can put an email address for anyone to contact us without needing a supporting membership.
This, if a non supporting member wanted to contact another member directly, they could do that without going through a PM.

For me, that would be garrisonminiatures@gmail.com

I'm assuming that it would remove one of only two or three reasons for wanting – and pating – for a supporting membership.

Well, my reasons are well documented… used to be, paid out when new editors hired to allow TMP4, that subscription ran out, still waiting for TMP4… As also documented, once bug sorted and TMP4 in place will immediately start up my supporting membership again.

Would be easy to farm by bots and your inbound spam would increase.

No – cloudcaptain is right – any list of Emails is vulnerable and will result in more spam or worse

What usually happens is that a non-Supporting Member contacts me, and I let them have a free week of Supporting Membership. grin

You could just ask them for the email. Garrison showed how easy it is.

I think this is a great idea!

Elsewhere I go emails are given in codes to keep from robotic spammers.
