Whilst I did finally find a nice 3' square modern urban gaming mat, due to Brexit, the price went up. Stupid politicians… So, as usual, I had to get a bit inventive. Want a 12" modular gaming tile depicting a city street that cost less than £1.00 GBPoo to make? Pop along to my blog and I'll show you how: link |

Great looking roads. Unfortunately our supply of tiles has dried up. I think they fail building regs. Luckily I have a packet in my laundry cupboard. I was thinking of using thin cork instead of the Sandpaper. |

Thanks all. I did consider using cork tiles instead, as the texture would give a finish similar to tarmac. You could use a cork flooring tile as a base, then use the foam for the pavements/sidewalk. Wouldn't be quite as cheap, but would still be cheaper than injection moulded plastic tiles or MDF ones. Which means more money to spend on figures… |

Fantastic. I've been wondering how to make a double lane freeway for a zombie game and I think I'm going to have to "borrow" your idea. |
