For Octobers Conwy Wargames club meeting Chris hosted a Dust Warfare game with lots of amendments of his own making. The aim of the game was to try out the rules and see if they played well and provided proper fog of war experience.

Scenario

The Germans are retreating and need to hold the junction to allow their forces to get away. They therefore lay an ambush to slow the Americans down for 6 turns.

Objectives
Americans – take the junction
Germans – stop them

I'm no Dust expert so I probably don't have the right names for things but this one of the US scout walkers

Nice. Im not Dust expert either, but I know I would Not want to be the guy driving that 'very' light scout Walker.
He has what could be (based on scale) a pair of 20, 30 or even 40mm 'gatlin' guns. So hes got the fire power, but he makes a great target for a sniper, sitting high above the crowd.

The Allied light walker is call a Honey. It is armed with twin phaser guns that fire intense packets of explosive kinetic energy that can phase in and out of matter making matter such as cover, and sometimes armor, irrelevant.

My group also had concerns about someone who would be foolish enough to climb 10 feet in the air to basically ride a walking motorcycle. The biker in out group stated that it had to be a hell of rush to operate that walker and probably worth getting shot over.

Glad to see the game being played!
