6mm! Blimey. I thought dropping from 28mm to 15/18mm was a challenge, for my latest efforts. Actually, once I found the wheels, scratch building the rest was easy. But 6mm…… Daft question. What scale do you think these figures are?…or rather the kit that goes with them…the guns, the limbers, etc Something around 1/285 scale to 1/300 scale? |

I scratch built one years ago from a Ross and Heroics pontoon wagon. That and balsa wood. |

I have the 18mm Old Glory one waiting for me to get to it, just need to add a couple of more horses. I would think H&R would have something suitable in 5mm/6mm. As long as you have the wheels and horses, you could easily carve one from balsa wood. |

Do you have a photo of the Old Glory carriage? Often mentioned here, but no one can find an image. Unpainted…any quality of photo…..just for a vague impression. |

Made one in 6mm years ago – memory is vague but I think I used spare gun team horses and artillery/limber wheels, the top half of a figure in a cocked hat with plume, and the carriage from plastic card. It looked OK if you didn't get close. There is a General's Carriage in the Irregular Miniatures 18th range, but it would need the top half cutting off and other work doing to make it truly suitable. |
