To Rogue Star Gamers:

When the game is released what setting will you be using for gaming it?

      1. The official Rogue Stars setting

      2. One from your favorite science fiction movie/TV series.

      3. One of your favorite Board Game/RPG/ Miniatures settings

       4. Or Create your own game universe.

4 – If I buy any of the figures they will wind up in my LaserGrenadiers campaign.

Say four and a quarter. (4.23, actually.) When I see SF figures I like, I buy a few. I need a tactical setting rather than a campaign, and see no reason why 2000AD judges can't try to round up Ewoks, or Squats have a run-in with Imperial Storm Troopers.

Need to see the rules – might be good for Star Trek.

Have to wait and see but Strontium Dog is a long term plan of mine.

Rogue Stars is Osprey's upcoming SF skirmish game developed by the same gentleman who penned the 'Song of X and Y' series. (and a few more) There's a Northstar Nickstarter running now that'll get you the rules book and figs.

4 is my answer as well.

4 for me as well

Jamesonsafari13 Nov 2016 2:10 p.m. PST

4 as well. Got my own ideas.

My setting for Rogue Star will be combination of 3 and 4.

2 and 4

Probably 4 but may 3 if they work well for Cyberpunk.

Strangely enough i'm also thinking of using Rogue Star for Strontium Dog. I picked up the Johnny Alpha and Wulf figures from Foundry and I'll add more SD agents from their range over time. The North star figs will also be useful as bad guys.

I've got some Judge Dredd type figures (Law Officers) and Space Adventurers from 15mm.co.uk Laserburn range which I'm hoping to press into action with Rogue Stars (probably a mixture of options 2, 3 and 4).
