Of course these are great. I always save your pictures to educate me, in painting tips.

But, be honest……

You have also painted Perry Scots Greys, to the same artistic standard, on this site….

Do not feel the need to answer this, but let the rest of us do so…..Which look more like human beings? Which have their right arms narrower than their thighs?

Why do Front Rank still produce superb quality castings (far better than you know who), but of gorillas or Hobbits, staring at the sky ?

(latest reinforcement packs a massive improvement, I admit)

Calpe every day.

Front Rank…at their best…unbeatable. But for some….they can be "stout" fellows. Their cavalry, especially, can be strangely proportioned. Their right arms come off the thorax at a very strange angle and the upper arm is usually thicker than the upper thigh, in most of them.

I actually looked again at my Carabiniers (French)this morning, wondering if I could still use them, as the castings are superb. No, they went back in the box. They are all leaning back at a daft angle…..
