So I just saw that a bunch of old Ral Partha figures can still be purchased.

What other "classic" 70's/early 80's era fantasy figures are still in production?

Some of Minifigs fantasy figures from the 70s/80s are still being made, like their pig orcs. Denizen is still in business. Midlam miniatures bought up a lot of the old Metal Magic figures which were 80s I think.

Mirliton have a lot of the old Grenadier figures.

Who still does the old Minifigs D&D range? I loved their Hobgoblins & Gnolls.

@Huscarle

Minifigs have brought some of their old fantasy figures back into production. It seems to happen on a fairly ad hoc basis (I think if they stumble across one of the old moulds they start making the figures again). There is only one Gnoll but a few of the classic Hobgoblins are back in production.

Someone is doing the Knight & magic heritage figures

You can look on the Lost Minis Wiki. They have an extensive listing of different companies, some quite obscure, from the 70s to the present. They often mention where the moulds to these old ranges go after the original company went out of business

Thanks gang.

Are the Mirlton fantasy figures classic Grenadier or are they newer sculpts that are made in the old style?

Bandolier13 Nov 2016 3:36 p.m. PST

They are mostly the same classic sculpts.

A couple of years ago I ordered some of their 'Fantasy' humans because they work well as Wars of the Roses troops. They matched up perfectly with some 20 year old figures I already had.

That's too bad about the Dragonstooth stuff :/

The Ral Partha colonials are avaialble from great endeavors – as well as the Condotierri line if you say please.

He is in the US despite the UK web address.

The old Naismith 25mm Aztecs, which are STUNNING, are available as well (as are many of the other lines).
