Lovely, bright green bases. :) Liking this so much. |

Were the mop-top hair-styles an homage to the era of the figures' original release? |

I always new that these were nice figures that were much maligned – and you've proved it right here. |

That is really nice work. You made them look better than they really are. The bases are wonderful, reminds me of Britainīs. |

Wonderful work! 20thmaine was spot on. My Airfix figures certainly never looked this good. |

White straps look really cool. Did they use them or is this artistic license? |
Pauls Bods | 13 Nov 2016 12:05 p.m. PST |
Thanks all. @ Marc.. on my part, artistic licence :-) |
Narratio | 13 Nov 2016 8:03 p.m. PST |
And a fine artistic license it is. I always knew they painted up nice. |

Agreed – the white belts really lift those figures. I have painted mine (not Airfix, but 1/72 plastics of course) with dark grey belts, and they look a bit drab. The white (and green bases) make these really pop. |

Fantastic. I just love Airfix models and the Airfix ACW range was my foray into wargaming. I think you have done them justice. |
