Once made by Baueda, they're OOP at the moment. It needs only 63 people to re-vive the Egyptian ones & a few more for the Celtic: link Interested?

why don't you try to use others sources..for example from other plastic sets like Airfix British Artillery, IMEX wagons, plenty of hong kong sets ecc… |

Signore, The Baueda ones are more authentic, cheaper &, if the kickstarter gets off the ground, cheaper. |

Hi, I used them up and still wanted more. I was disappointed that they quit selling them. They are really nicely done and a great fit with my Atlantic chariots. Thanks. |

No worries, John. I've had a certain amount of criticism about my wanting to use the Atlantic chariots but I think with a little effort, I can turn them into something quite decent. Cheers. |

I agree about those chariots. Put those wheels on them and give them a decent paint job and they look nice. I have loads of those Atlantic Egyptians. I do need to work on my Hittites though. Not sure on which rules to use. I was hooked on chariots when I first saw the Hinchcliffe ones many moons ago. Thanks, John |

Chariots, elephants & camels are the Holy Trinity of Ancient wargaming. I now have & use the first two. And……I finally have camels in the to-paint pile! Life is sweet.

Irregular miniatures have 18mm diameter wheels & I've put my order in. The existing plastic Caesar & metal Newline models, whilst nice, have wheels that are too small. Getting these larger wheels means that the Atlantic chariots will be more accurate. I can easily move the axle (a replacement metal one) to the rear. The "solid" body of the Atlantic chariot will be painted as hide or leather covered (as it surely was for battle). I will add a length of plastic rod from top to bottom at the front to better represent the frame of the chariot's body. The figure holding a sword has already had a replacement whip added & by removing the figure stands, two figures can fit actually more easily than I the Newline chariot. A bit of work…but not too much & I'm expecting to end up with some nice chariots. donald |
