All, It's 1030 on 29 June 1990 and Battlegroup Caballero, having just been rejected from the town of Premja, is again going over into the attack.
With a HMMWV burning (bottom right) from the earlier fight, the Stryker pushes forward, and the ambush is sprung!
The Cobra rolls in to make a rocket run. To see how the fight turned out, please check the blog at: linkStay tuned, more games coming this weekend. ***Sorry, I screwed up the title. This is indeed the 17th fight in Cronistria, but I'd been titling these "Operation Chokehold," and this is the fourth of those. V/R, Jack |

Nice stuff Jack…I've been so impressed with your recent gear on the table too. Good to see you hard at it :) |

Agree Jack. Your 6mm stuff looks better than my 15mm. Joe |

Love those rockets with smoke trails. |

Jack… I noticed the Humvee fired its TOW missiles a few times. How does the loading work in your rules? This was another fun AAR. Where did you get the middle east buildings? I like the way you painted them up. Ben |

Panda – Holy shit, you're alive! Thanks man, but let's go, get off your butt! You owe it to yourself to be reading all my batreps, and you owe it to the wargaming world to play and post your batreps ;) Joe – Thanks man, you flatter me. I think your stuff looks great, and if I had a million dollars I'd order some of that Hexon terrain, it looks great! Vigilant – Thanks a lot. The rockets are from "Fight's On!" here in the States. Ben – In the rules I'm using right now I allow ATGMs to reload if they sit tight (no more or fire) for a turn after they fire. The buildings are all from JR Miniatures, and are a pretty good deal (relatively inexpensive, come in packs of two or three buildings). What are you working on these days? I need to play out another USMC in Vietnam campaign in 15mm to set up Dai Do, and I need to buy some M-48A3s, LVTP5s, PBRs, and Sampans in 6mm, then I'm ready to move into that campaign. After I finish up Op Chokehold, of course. Damn man, just too many projects and too little time! V/R, Jack |

Nice to see someone using a choppa in a FiveCore game. I hadn't gotten around to it yet. |

If there's a choppa, there's gotta be some getting to it :-) |

Sorry, it wasn't that kind of da choppa ;) So far I've played 18, 19, and 20. Plan on playing more tomorrow, then I need to write all of them up. V/R, Jack |
