If you really want accurate bayou ambience, you need a large number of beer cans to strew on the banks and beer bottles to float in the water. An equivalent number of fast-food bags, soda cups, and the blue styrofoam containers that night-crawlers are sold in would also be useful. Easy to model and absolutely necessary for accuracy would be lengths of fishing line hanging from any overhanging branches, almost always with the float and hook still attached.
