The title says it all, really. I have no experience of Slaughterloo but, after reading that it is available as a PDF, wondered how well the game systems would serve in a conventional Napoleonic or pseudo-Napoleonic ImagiNations game, without the fantasy elements. I'd be very grateful for comments from experienced Slaughterloo players. |

I've wondered the same thing myself. Curious to see what others have to say. |

I can't answer for Slaughterloo, but I can confirm that Flintloque does work for Napoleonic skirmishes (historical). Try the Notables for a more detailed answer. link Good luck. Tony |

Thanks, Tony, I'll join the group. I'm not so interested in skirmishes, though, but in large battles. |

I think Slaughterloo is a great game ans would work well for Napoleonics. Someone even posted a thread on TMP with game stats for all the troops. |

I would say yes. This is from my experience of playing Slaughterloo in it's original setting. But it plays much more like a historical game than a fantasy one. In fact if you just replaced the minis with their historical counterparts then I imagine not many people would notice. |

Slaughterloo would work fine in my opinion, I find them a great set of rules. |

I have played several Peninsular scenarios with it as is and results were comparable to any other Napoleonic game. If you are a playing with Russians in a scenario you might need a bit of tweaking as they are Undead in the game and have special rules that might not suit..although if you like your Russians having poor firepower and maneuverability offset by great staying power you might not mind. |

I have only played one game of Slaughterloo yet but I have the rules and looking it over I would say yes. I am eager to give the rules a go once I have my forces painted up. |
