Of course…absolutely 100%…that was how they would have looked and not just on the Retreat from Moscow. Great presentation. But then, folk go into this era to show Guard and elite troops in parade rig…..knowing this is far far more realistic. we should, at least, all include SOME units like this Do follow that link….some great photography and modelling here |

Too kind. The idea was actually to produce figures for Germany late in 1813 when uniforms were running out when units couldn't be resupplied, and for the Peninsular. Its something I keep banging on about but from my research the Poles were better equipped that the French in 1813 as they built up stockpiles of uniforms before the Russian debacle. Also the Poles brought back a fair proportion of their army. The French were in a right mess as far as uniforms were concerned. We also produce a 'march-attack' variant. Both are available as 6 figure packs or as battalion deals. |
