Here's a look at the Nobades I put together for the Portsmouth event …
Many are renegades from a large DBM Axumite army which is breaking down into a Rome's Desert Frontier collection of armies for V3 DBA.
There are more pictures on Ancients on the Move/Nobades and I will be posting a report on this year's English DBA Open shortly. Fun army, though … Phil

Phil, What a marvelous looking army and camp. It seems the shields have been pilfered from a variety of battlefields. Nice touch. - Robert |

Very nice looking army. I feel a lot of less "regular" armies benefit from a more eclectic style. |

With a name sounding like "The nobodies" it's been on my list. Thanks for the inspiration. |

Lol … a name to conjure with … I have also heard it shortened to 'Nobs' … Thanks for all the positive comments … I see these guys as desert raiders … armed with a fair amount of plundered equipment. We don't really have much to go on so that's just my guess. It is a nice army play and has a good range of historical opponents including Romans and Pre-Islamic Arabs. Wargames on the fringe of empire. Phil Ancients on the Move |

Beautiful figures. Nice use of an edifice as a camp. |
