"Ideas for 28 mm 2nd Seminole Wars" Topic

In a near future, i'll start a new project : 2nd Seminoles wars !
i'm working on a SODT version for this period and all the black powder (and more) periods……

Shopping is done at CRISIS 2016 in Antverpen last saturday.

This is also a project that has long been on my backburner. I have some of the Conquest (now available through Warlord) Seminoles and they are very nice.

As for US troops, I have been told the Old Glory are nice, but do not have any yet. What I did instead was pick up some War of 1812 regulars and frontier militia from Knuckleduster, which will serve as First Seminole War troops. I know you said second, which is my ultimate goal as well, but this way I figure I could use the Seminole minis for both, and I could use the US troops for 1812 or other period skirmishes.

My plan is to modify Muskets and Tomahawks. Good luck!

I use a mix of Old Glory and Conquest for the Seminoles and Old Glory for the US troops. A few of us have been using Yellow Ribbon with modifications and have had one test game at the club.

and the ideas i get to complete the work.
