Here are some shots of the game I ran with friends at "Crisis" – the collection is (unusually) 15mm and belongs to my friend Ian Notter.

Best, Simon

PS Sorry about the accidental cross-post to 19th Century- that was the bug, not me!

Is it a different game in 15's – plenty of room for manoeuvre

Emperorbaz07 Nov 2016 6:42 a.m. PST

Fantastic!

Thanks all.

Hi Barry- very much the same game as we used a 20cm grid- just more miniatures than we'd use for 28s- the LI units were eac h 16 strong, for instance, and the cataphracts 32s. The look was great!

My favourite ancient battle.

Absolutely stunning, Simon. I think I am going to start building forces for this battle!

It is a super battle; I plan to do it in 28mm, next year or the year after. I have an OOB if anyone wants one- you can PM me contact me via the shop:-

Super. I am increasingly convinced that grid games are a great way to go, especially large battles at conventions.

Grids are cracking for convention games. I'm just ordering a whopping great gridded 16' x 6' cloth with this in mind. :-)
